Soap and Glory Sugar Crush Body Butter Review

Hey everyone! Another beauty review type thingy today and it's all about the Soap and Glory Sugarcrush Body Butter!

This Milly loves herself some Soap and Glory loveliness. Whether it's their GORGEOUS eyeshadow quads, lusciouss hair products, super amazeballs mascara or brilliant face wash (I nearly ran out of adjectives then...), this girl's gonna love it.

My favourite scent has to be the Sugar Crush range. I wish you had smella-screen (is that even a thing?) so you could understand my feels over this stuff. The sugar crush range consists of a body butter, body scrub and body wash. I have them all. Don't judge me.

I'm going to tryyy and explain how they smell but sorry if I do a really terrible job. It's limey but doesn't smell zingy ( wow.) instead it's a sweet lime, hence why it's called sugar crush; it almost smells like lime yoghurt (oh dear). If you don't like lime scents, don't you be judging this beauty because oh my goodness it smells delicious. Let's roll with that description.

So today I'm just going to review the body cream because if I was to review all of the range you would be still reading this in the year 3000. (Where we live under water. Comment if you know what song that's from)

The effect this stuff has on your skin is insane, leaving it feeling silkily smooth and smelling of the cream all day. Very nice if you want to smell like lime yoghurt, am I selling it to you?... No, really, it's fantastic and I'm sure you'll receive plenty of limishious scentish compliments.

The Body Butter costs around £10.50. You definitely get your money's worth from the product as you only need to apply a small amount because of how beautifully it spreads, especially when you've just got out of the bath/shower and your skin's nice and moisturised. It also seeps into the skin fairly quickly so you don't feel like a slug for too long:)

Although the packaging doesn't look expensive, I love the simplistic design with all the Soap and Glory comments we all know and love. Plus it's pink and green, my two favourite colours so that sold me straight away.

My only problem with this product is that it's a screw on lid! When my hands are all buttered up (going a bit in depth here but carry on) it's extremely hard to screw on a lid! I would much prefer like a pop off one so my life would be that tad bit easier. But other than that slight moan, everything else is top job fantastic!

So that review went quite well I feel... I need to go and revise French now as I have a speaking exam tomorrow at 12:45 (during RE, YESSS) and I'm slightly stressing out over that so I must dash.

My Go Too Handreams of 2013/14!

Hey everyone! Two posts in a week, hope you all feel very special indeed. I have a free half an hour so here you go, my go too hand-creams hope you enjoy:))

I get really chapped, dry and sensitive hands in the autumn and winter months so it takes me a while to find the perfect hand-cream that moisturises yet doesn't cause my hands to feel on fire when I put it on.

First up is this super handy Neutrogena hand-cream that is my go to handbag cream as you only have to apply a really tiny blob on your hand. This is great as it means you don't feel like you've got handcream on so you can carry on with everything without leaving a slimy residue behind:)) It amazes me how even though you only put a tiny bit on, it still moisturises your hands so much and doesn't cause them to sting at all. It's also in an incredibly tiny bottle as it's so concentrated which means it fits in your bag wonderfully.

As for smell, this product doesn't really have any. I personally like this for when I'm out and about:)

The price of this product is between £3 and £4 which is quite good considering the number of uses you get from it.

Excuse the drawing on my hand:))
My other go to hand-cream is this Hemp Hand Protector from Body Shop which I absolutely ADORE! It's very thick, very moisturising but slightly more expensive compared with the Neutrogena one costing £10 for this size bottle. This is the hand-cream I use on a night as it's thicker and does leave your hands feeling very handcreamy (if that's a word?!) and when I get up on a morning it leaves my hands feeling so unbelievably soft. If you have really dry, chapped hands then this is the hand-cream for you.

You do have to use quite a lot of the cream when applying to completely moisturise your hand which means the larger bottle is recommended as it can run out quite quickly, especially if you apply it everyday like I do.

I quite like the smell of this hand-cream. It's not a sweet. That's all I got. I recommend having a smell when you next go past Bodyshop but that isn't what makes this product good, it's the brill effect it has on your hands that caused me to buy the big bottle.

So there we go! Hope you enjoyed that Monday blogpost. I want to start blogging more regularly this year but please don't hold it against me, school is taking up a LOT of time recently *cry*

Anyway got to go now! Let me know in the comments below what hand-creams you've been loving at the moment, I'll look forward to replying to them:)

MUA "Undress Me Too" Eye Palette Review!

So today  I've decided to go all beauty on you, bet you weren't expecting that! Because I was in a beauty post mood and Miyyi is a VERY diverse topic blog, I thought that a lovely review of the MUA eye shadow palette "Undress Me Too" would be a great idea. Just to put it out there I am by no means at all ever a make-up expert, ever. But no matter! We will plod on anyway with the knowledge that this is not a professional review. Ok, glad we got that cleared up, off we go!:)

I cannot actually believe how cheap MUA palettes are. I picked this "Undress Me Too" one up from SuperDrug at £3.99 after looking online at th MUA website and the same palette being out of stock:( But no matter, I went through the checkout and it was mine:)

I think the packaging is very sleek and looks simple yet sophisticated. I do think the packaging reflects the price but it was always going to, it doesn't look like a stupidly expensive palette, but I like that! It's the right size for your handbag and shows you all the colours at a glance,  which lots of eye-shadow palettes do not. I can imagine the packaging getting a bit eye-shadow dusty but so far so good, I like the design a lot! It even comes with a little foam dabber brushy thing which I use for doing the inner highlight:p

The eyeshadows are really easy to blend and generally stay on for quite a while, even without a primer. This is great if you're going out for a few hours as you don't have to bring the palette with you:)

Some of the colours are more pigmented from others. The shimmery ones are all incredibly pigmented but some of the matte colours, for instance "Lavish", are not so and can look a bit chalky at times. I still love wearing them though, especially when doing a smoky eye, "Corrupt" works perfectly! I think the colours are very Autumnal and I can tell I'm going to be wearing them a lot this season:)

So there you have it, a beauty review, exciting times! Let me know what you thought in the comments below aswell as telling me your experiences with the MUA palette and how you like to wear your eyeshadow:)

Back To School Haul

Next week I'm going into year 10, eek. To prepare, I went school shopping. Being a 14 year old girl, I enjoyed this very much indeed! So today I thought I'd share with you what I splashed my cash on, off we go!

The first thing I bought was a cute fish pencil sharpener from Wilkinsons that probably cost no more than 50p, who knows if it'll be any good but it's wiggly eyes forced me to buy it, plus, it's pink!

The next exciting item I purchased was a pink (what a surprise) pencil case, which has monster teeth and yellow eyes. I bought this from WHSmith for around £4.50 and just love it's quirky and unique style which again drew me to buy it. It's not amazingly large but it'll do the job of looking after my pens and pencils with the blank back meaning friends can draw all over it. So enjoy the cleanliness and plainness of it now because by the end of the year, it will be a coloured in mess.

Next, I went into one of my favourite shops: Primark to buy some black pumps for school. These shoes I will probably wear on days where I'm doing PE as I have a tendency to leave my shoes in the changing rooms and lose them forever. Because of this, £4.00 ballet pumps from Primark are usually a good idea as I can go and buy some more without too much hassle:))

Finally, I bought my school bag for throughout the year from New Look for £20.00 which I thought was a bargain! It's a florally print backpack which I think is perfect for school as it's just the right size to fit all of my books and folders in and doesn't hurt your back to carry around which I find regular shoulder bags do. Also a friend last year had a New Look bag similar to this one which lasted the whole year, so the durability is pretty good!

Hope you guys enjoyed this post! I've never done a haul post before so let me know what you thought of it in the comments below! When do you go back to school? What bag have you got?

Collection 2000 White Nail Polish

So yesterday I decided that I wanted little French tip nails with just a pinky base for a Christening that I went to today. To do the tips, I used Collection 2000 French white nail polish and it worked a dream!
I had to write on the 2000 as whilst I was attempting to clean excess nail polish from the bottle,  the 2000 rubbed off, my bad...
I find it quite hard to do tips by hand but this nail polish is perfect for the job as you don't feel like it needs a second coat, which is quite surprising since this is a white colour.
Also the applicator brush, even though it's not specifically for doing tips was still quite easy to use, even when attempting my right hand. Although I did have to only use tiny drops of nail polish at a time.
With a top coat, I'm proud to say, my nails have no chips in them whatsoever! Hooray!
I used Frenchlook Rose as my base coat if you were wondering:)
So in conclusion... I'm happy with Collection 2000 and I'm definitely going to buy some more of their nail polish:)
